A leading UK non-for-profit organisation, is looking for an ambitious Category Manager, with experience of IT procurement, to lead the rationalisation of the IT and Technology category, as a key member of the newly formed Central Sourcing and Cost Management team.
This high-profile, dynamic and rapidly evolving organisation works with tens of thousands of young people and local communities across the country, with the vision of creating a more integrated society, where there is understanding and appreciation of each other’s differences.
The successful applicant will have a clear mandate to re-shape the multi-million pound IT and Technology spend across over 100 suppliers, working collaboratively with a number of key stakeholders, in a relatively “green field” procurement environment. He or she will have the experience and drive to help to transform the cost management culture of the organisation, at all levels.
Based out of the London HQ, he or she will have a national role and the desire to influence outcomes across 5 regions and multiple centres, nationwide.
