IT Procurement Administrator – Leading Public Sector Organisation – Surrey - £30,000

This leading public sector organisation is looking for a procurement administrator to support their IT Procurement team as they embark on a new digital transformation. This is a fantastic chance to gain experience within a best-in-class procurement function, learning from some incredibly successful procurement professionals. The role will consist of a variety of responsibilities which will provide the successful applicant with irreplaceable skills which will help develop their procurement career.

As IT Procurement Administrator you will: -
  • Be responsible for onboarding, reporting, and data analysis; as well as aspects of supplier management
  • Work with senior stakeholder both internally and externally, developing your stakeholder management skills which will be used throughout your procurement career
  • Have the opportunity learn the end to end sourcing process, eventually leading on your own projects
  • Gain invaluable knowledge of Public Sector contracts which will leave your options open for later in your career
  • Build lasting relationships which will help further your future career in procurement

IT Procurement Administrator required background: -
  • Some commercial experience, ideally within a procurement environment, however, other backgrounds will be considered
  • Evidence of fast progression, or a high aptitude for learning in previous role(s)
  • Passion for IT in general, and an interest in developing your skills in one of the most lucrative career paths within procurement
  • Degree (beneficial but not essential)
