Based in the facility near Wakefield, the Lean and Material Flow Coordinator will responsible for providing and maintaining the highest manufacturing and production standards, support and leadership to achieve the plant goals, objectives and targets within QCDSM.

Description

Key responsibilities for the Lean and Material Flow Coordinator:



To work with the team to lead and manage change and ensure business KPI’s are met through the involvement and motivation of all employees and the implementation of Lean processes.

  • maximise productivity and achieve schedule adherence/Customer Service Requirements


  • To achieve key objectives that meet KA expectations


  • To ensure that the production schedule is achieved, meeting customer demands


  • To work with the Value Stream Manager to improve & drive Lean Flow initiatives


  • To develop and work closely with their team to improve the Lean Enterprise


  • Take an active approach in establishing Root Cause Analysis that lead to Productivity and Quality improvements









Profile

Ideal attributes for the Lean and Material Flow Coordinator:

  • Experience of automotive manufacturing
  • Proven Lean Implementation experience within automotive manufacturing
  • Proven leadership experience with automotive manufacturing environment
  • Clear and concise record keeping
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business
  • PC literate
  • Ability to create and implement VS maps
