I am actively looking for a confident professional to join a Logistics Administrator role within a global transport provider. There are excellent opportunities to progress within the business into more senior operational roles.

Client Details

My client is a leading name in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector rivalling the international players of the industry. Their operation near Burton-on-Trent is growing at an exponential rate through organic expansion.

Description

As a Logistics Administrator you will be responsible for the following duties in Burton-on-Trent
  • To provide comprehensive cover of the telephone and front-desk area.
  • To communicate with drivers, logistics staff, internal and external clients.
  • Answer all driver calls and requests in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Preparation of all internal conferencing areas prior to meeting start-ups.
  • Ensuring internal and external visitors are monitored and adhere to health & safety requirements.
  • Ensure purchase orders and financial administration requests are filled accordingly.
  • Provide administration support to the management team as required.
  • Engie, maintain record of repairs needed and chase outstanding issues.
  • Provide analysis of stock control, warehouse relations and order processing.

Profile

The successful Logistics Administrator will have passed experience of front desk and/or customer facing operations. They will be easily commutable to the Burton-on-Trent area, potentially from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire or Leciestershire. The successful candidate will have the following skills set:
  • Commutable to the Burton-on-Trent area.
  • Prior experience of working in a customer facing, front desk role.
  • Able to start within a one week period.
  • A professional, personable character, with excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Educated to A-Level qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cheerful and happy persona.
  • Welcoming attitude, self-motivated, with key attention to detail.

Job Offer
