The purpose of the Logistics Analyst is to develop the integration between key business processes, internally, and to the extended Logistics, Warehouse and supply chain of customers and suppliers. Further, the role will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and utilising planning and communication tools for accomplishing the above.





Client Details

My client is Cambridgeshire based Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain business with sites all over the planet. Owing to expansion, a new role has been created for a Logistics Analyst.

Description

The Logistics Analyst will be required to:

  • Play a lead role in developing collaborative with EU logistics people, utilising best practices and available technology.
  • Measure and report numerous of costs associated to EU logistics and warehouse
  • Maintain the use of system to extrapolate, modulate and report logistics data.
  • Measure and report actual vs. planned performance, overall, by business unit.
  • Manage the integration of information between various systems as well as ensuring the integrity if master data.
  • Support the line manager in coordination for different strategic projects identified into EU logistics and warehouse.





Profile

The successful candidate for the Logistics Analyst role will have:

  • Superior analytical skills, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and can see the "big picture" while still paying attention to the detail.
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Capability of presenting information to all levels of management with supporting analysis and assumptions.
  • Essential problem-solving skills across entire logistics process from end to end.
  • Proven ability to deal with complexity and manage relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
