It’s always tricky deciding whether to go to college, or whether to go out to work. But Aldi can offer the best of both: the chance to earn a good wage and acquire specialist knowledge with some of the most talented logistics people in retail today.

Based at one of our warehouses, you’ll learn everything there is to know about a fairly complex but fascinating process: getting the right products to the right stores in the best condition possible. You’ll discover all the real-life techniques and challenges we experience, plus you’ll be working with a fabulous team of people who will help and encourage you all the way.

It’s a structured career path with some fantastic goals to aim for. For instance, you’ll be trained in all aspects of Health & Safety while working towards your Level 2/3 NVQ Qualifications. Our most successful Apprentices have every opportunity to work towards a management position.

Fixed-term contract
£180 per week (rising to £267 per week in year 3)
5-day/25-30-hour week (typically), will include weekends
4 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays
Full training provided
Company sick pay scheme
Company maternity, paternity and adoption leave after 2 years
Working towards a Level 3 Retail Team Leader Qualification
