An exciting new opportunity for a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to join their close-knit team and help fulfil customers’ needs by developing relationships and meeting their specific needs in a timely fashion.

The key purpose of the Shipping and Logistics Coordinator is to ensure a smooth end to end supply chain process is delivered to customers and that the service targets set are met through daily management of their 3PL and international service providers and that the communication with Customers and other teams with in the business remain effective.

The responsibilities;
  • Booking deliveries on a daily basis with the haulage company, ensuring they are meeting deadlines and are delivered On Time and In Full
  • Bringing attention to any issues that arise regarding costs to the Logistics Operations Manager or the Managing Director
  • By using the logistics planning tool, control the flow of in transit orders and monitor the status of each order and updating accordingly
  • Communicating to the customer when there is a delay with the shipment

The ideal candidate will have the following;
  • Degree calibrate or equivalent working experience
  • Previous experience working in a fast pace environment and dealing with heavy workloads
  • Ability to continuously look for solutions to solve problems and being proactive in challenging the norm in order to find new and innovative ways to drive improvements
  • Strong experience skills in Excel and general IT
  • Have a strong attention to detail and good communication skills
