My client is a global business who are looking for a experience Warehouse Administration Team Leader to join their established team on a prestigous contract. You must come from a logistics background with experience of dealing with warehouse and transport process. You will ideally have retail warehousing or FMCG Warehousing experience

•Management, training and retention of staff

•Ensure all documentation issued to the warehouse operation is completed, obtained and actioned in full

•To arrange collection trailers onto a daily register for the warehouse operation to planned resource in line with trailer arrivals

•To ensure each customers expectations is met and fully understood

•Practice 5’s within the administration department ensuring all consumables needed are in stock

•Any customer request are responded to with 2 hours of receipt and communication is kept to a very high standard

  • Personal involvement with the customer and the customers suppliers

•Personal involvement with the transportation providers

•Ensure all Non-Conformances are investigated and responded to

•Personal involvement with the customer and the customer’s suppliers

•Personal involvement with the transportation providers

•Ensure all Non-Conformances are investigated and responded to promptly

•Ensure general administration for the customer activity is completed to highest level of quality and compliance

•Effective support and leadership of the customers departments

•Development and retention of staff

•Management of resources in line with customer budget

•As and when required by the customer or management

•To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company.

•Motivating staff and driving a culture of health and safety and continuous improvement

•Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s Health & Safety in the workplace

•Report hazards in your work or in your work environment that may be putting your or anyone else’s Health & Safety at risk


  • You must come from a Logistics background with strong knowledge of warehouse and transportation process.

•Demonstrate strong and proven leadership skills and be able to employ a range of methods to fully energise others and lift performance

•Possess excellent communication and IT skills and an ability to work well within a team

•Display a flexible and proactive approach in order to meet and exceed operational objectives

•Be able to demonstrate how you maintain and encourage good employee relations and promote an environment of a strong safety and people management culture

•Able to engage with people at a senior level

•Meticulous with a keen eye for detail

•Able to break down processes in basic components

•Extremely focused and result driven

•Self-starter with the ability to quickly integrate in a team environment

•Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

•Strong organisational and documentation skills

•Must be a clear and concise communicator, with good written and verbal reporting skills

Job Offer

A salary between £23,000 and £26,000 dependant on experience.
