Finally, after two years of experimenting they had created the fantastic "milk" chocolate flavour that they were looking for, and at the end of 2010 the couple launched Moo Free and recently relocated from Reading to Devon


The Logistics Manager in Devon will be responsible for...
  • Responsibility for management of MooHub, the company's logistics system
  • Ensuring accuracy of all data held in the hub, including static information (customers, products, prices, targets etc) and the flow of data through the hub (purchase orders, batch allocation, stock, production planning, stock movement , sales order processing, reservation, allocations, picking and delivery notes, stock adjustments, shipments, invoices and credit control)
  • Train staff as necessary in correct use of the hub, monitor it's use and take corrective action as required
  • Liaise with developer to ensure the hub is maintained and developed in line with business needs
  • Work with the dispatch administrator to develop supply chain management to ensure that customers receive their orders complete, intact and on time.
  • Working with the procurement administrator to ensure that ingredients and packaging arrive at the correct time and price for production.
  • Working with Sales Order Processing to ensure orders are recorded in the company's system accurately in a timely manner and that customers receive their orders complete and on time
  • Plan production schedules to ensure that finished goods are available in the warehouse at the time and volumes required
  • Ensure that dispatch to customers is efficient and cost effective At all times to consider that costs to the company


The successful Logistics manager will be experienced in a logistics and transport role, highly organised, approachable, cope well under pressure, good telephone manner. Able to forge relationships with suppliers, good at negotiating contract prices.
