Logistics Procurement Lead – South East - £60,000-£70,000

An award winning global leader in the FMCG space seeks a talented and ambitious Logistics Procurement Lead to positively impact their procurement transformation. The role offers terrific progression opportunities within a reputable, global and best in class procurement function that only shows signs of expansion in the coming years. This is a perfect opportunity for logistics category experts to expand their expertise and work with the brightest minds in FMCG procurement.

Logistics Procurement Lead Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategy and manage the complexities of large procurement projects across the Logistics category; specifically across storage, warehousing and finished goods.
  • Deploy your Logistics Procurement subject matter expertise to execute seamless and integrated strategic sourcing processes
  • Utilise your Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) skills to manage market leading 3PL and 4PL suppliers / vendors
  • Establish and cultivating key stakeholder relationships to ensure necessary buy in and support for strategic sourcing and category management processes / projects

Key Skills & Attributes Required:
  • Significant (4 years+) Logistics procurement, strategic sourcing & category management experience within a well-recognised FTSE 250 or Fortune 500 company
  • Excellent stakeholder influencing and relationship management skills
  • Degree, MCIPS and Prince 2 qualifications preferred but not essential
