A Logistics Team Leader position based within a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield. The role involves managing a team of 21.

Client Details

A leading manufacturing business within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry, looking to expand their Logistics team.

Description

Key responsibilities as a Logistics Team Leader:
  • Allocating work load to team to ensure daily production targets are met
  • Manage stock and quarantine inventories
  • Co-ordinate intra-plant transports
  • Ensure order picking and packing operations are completed in a time efficient manner
  • Ensure packaging machines remain in proper working order
  • People management: engagement, motivation, disciplinary and performance monitoring
  • Identify and recommend potential improvements



Profile

The successful Logistics Team Leader will:
  • Background of medium/high volume manufacturing/engineering environment
  • A minimum of 1/3 years years experience
  • Proven experience of people management/leadership
  • Highly experienced in working under own initiative, meeting deadlines/targets and problem solving
