I am recruiting a Master Production Scheduler to join a leading, niche manufacturing business based in Brighton.
This role will manage end to end Supply Chain with a predominant focus on production planning and purchasing of materials.

Description
The Master Production Scheduler will be responsible for:
Creating robust production schedules, considering both production capacity and resources available
Identifying improvement opportunities for forecast efficiency
Creating process orders and managing material transfers from warehouse to production
Rationalising a supplier base
Implementing a procurement strategy to deliver cost savings
Monitoring and optimising capacity planning to ensure best fit for product delivery to agreed customer deadlines
Supply Chain continuous improvement projects
Profile
The Master Production Scheduler must possess a proven track record in leading a Supply Chain covering all elements from order to delivery.
A background in strategic purchasing is essential as this role will focus on delivering cost savings and increasing quality.
As a Senior Manager within the business, you must demonstrate initiative and ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
This role requires someone very analytical and highly competent with Microsoft excel.
