Your new company
You will be joining a well-established specialist manufacturing company based in Co. Armagh who offer leading services to meet increasing customer demands across the UK. Recently, they have made a significant impact within their market due to determination, hard work and new developments. Due to business growth, the company are seeking a new Material Controller to join their growing supply chain department on a full time permanent basis.

Your new role
Reporting to the S&OP Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the overall supply of materials by investigating any variances with production, highlighting errors and planning for assembly scheduling using bespoke MRP software. You will schedule inventory levels to maximise service to customers, provide accurate responses to the sales team, liaise closely with manufacturing and focus on areas for continuous improvement. Also, the Material Controller will work cooperatively with the planning department to analyse inventory forecasts and communicate these to production.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working within a high volume manufacturing environment will lead to success along with the ability to communicate and maintain relationships with key suppliers and customers across the UK. You will be self-motivated with the ability to put improvement ideas into practice across the supply chain and work cooperatively as part of a team of people. Also, knowledge of using MRP/ERP software to forecast material scheduling will be a high advantage.
