Material Scheduler job, Chepstow, £20k-£25k, immediate start.

Your new company

You’ll be working for experts and leaders in a rapidly growing designing and engineering company. The company specialise in a range of aluminium based products, across the UK and worldwide. The company are founded on its quality, service and local expertise within the industry.

Your new role

You’ll ensure the effective and time sensitive delivery planning of material in coordination with the requirements of the business. You will report to the senior material scheduler. Your responsibilities will also include the control of inventory in order to maximise the best price conditions. Manage the purchase order placement on supply chain and suppliers this will be based on lead times and forecasts.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful you’ll need a robust personality to be able to maintain relationships and regular contact with the worldwide suppliers. The demands of the role means that you will boast experience of dealing with suppliers including a proven repertoire for expediting a slow supply chain. You will also be able to demonstrate focus and organisation to hit JIT targets, alongside having an excellent understanding of ERP. A strong understanding of IT in particular Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS and Pivot tables are essential), coupled with a positive, enthusiastic and proactive work approach.
