Material Scheduler Job, £25k-27k, Cwmbran, Immediate Start

Your new company
You’ll be working for experts and leaders in a rapidly growing designing and manufacturing company. The company specialise in a range of automotive based products, across the UK and worldwide. The company are founded on its quality, service and local expertise within the industry.

Your new role
You will be required to develop and analyse raw materials to manufacture aerospace products, alongside reviewing and evaluating engineer’s drawings and blueprints in order to estimate quantity and the type of materials that need to be used. You will report to the Senior Material Scheduler. You will also be required to convert requirements to orders of convenience sizes and quantities whilst considering factors such as existing inventories, unavoidable waste and what kind of materials to be used.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you’ll need a robust personality to be able to maintain relationships and regular contact with the worldwide suppliers. The demands of the role means that you will boast experience of dealing with suppliers including a proven repertoire for expediting a slow supply chain. You will have had at least 2 years experience of the automotive industry. You will also be able to demonstrate focus and organisation to hit JIT targets, alongside having an excellent understanding of ERP. A strong understanding of IT in particular Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS and Pivot tables are essential), coupled with a positive, enthusiastic and proactive work approach.
