This is a great opportunity to work for a leading and progressive engineering organisation in Milton Keynes. The role of Materials & Master Data Planner comes with a great package and flexible working hours.

Your new role
As a Materials & Master Data Planner, you will take a key role in ensuring the availability of materials to meet the manufacturing needs of the organisation and has two key work streams;

The first is Demand & Inventory Management which will see you take responsibility for the preparation of forecast data, developing statistical forecast models and evaluation of the results, providing detailed plans for the rescheduling of PO's and managing the review of any obsolete materials and producing surplus order reports.

The second is Data Management & NPI, in which you will be the first point of contact for the commercial teams new product requirements, any requests for change and ad-hoc product requirements. You will also be working with the SAP team improving the change management process and be responsible for the maintenance of parts and materials masters in SAP including any Bills of Material.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a demand planning function and will be able to demonstrate your competency in forecasting methods and demand planning systems. You will also need to be self motivated, decisive and commercially aware with good communication skills. You will have a thorough understanding of Bills of Material, quality systems and approvals with knowledge of raw materials including product specification.

This role comes with a substantial benefits package which includes flexible working hours and is paying between £30,000 - £33,000 per annum.
