High performing leader in their field, looking for a Materials / Production Planner £26-32k + bens West Dorset

Our client is a a specialist manufacturer, a leader in their field with a long track record of success and innovative products that are sold in the UK and globally. They can provide opportunities for further career progression, and excellent benefits including half day every Friday.

Your new role
In this position you will take control of the day-to-day supply of materials to meet business unit demands. You will use the MRP / ERP system to plan production and define purchasing schedules in line with the overall site S&OP / SIOP process, to ensure delivery targets are exceeded, while controlling inventory.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in a similar position, ideally in high value / low volume manufacturing (but those with experience of high volume are still encouraged to apply). You will have strong analytical and planning skills, and be accustomed to discussing your decisions as part of site planning meetings. You will be familiar with MRP / ERP and ideally have had previous exposure to site level SIOP meetings (although this is not essential).
