As a successful candidate, you will need to display a desire to perform as part of a team in a creative and dynamic environment. You will be given responsibility requiring you to organise your workload and be proactive. The role will deal primarily with 60% components for customer orders, involves capacity planning in large numbers and scheduling customer orders with excellent attention to detail. The role involves a lot of work on SAP so experience with this is a distinct advantage.

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

1. Dedicated first point of contact for designated customers and suppliers

2. Process customer orders efficiently and accurately on a daily basis and control stock at all levels of production

3. Ensure all customer orders are processed & delivered on time, & ensuring stock levels for both components and

finished goods are kept to a minimum

4. Communicate effectively with external and internal contacts regarding orders

5. Place orders with overseas suppliers according to customer demand and production

6. Prepare statistical analysis and reports as and when required


The successful candidate for the MRP Planner role will ideally have the following key skills and qualities:
  • Background within medium/high volume manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Highly experienced in working under own initiative, demonstrating an ability to set & meet personal targets,
    combined with the flexibility to adjust to workload priorities to take account of new deadlines.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • IT knowledge, particularly Excel, and SAP.
  • A language would be advantageous but is not essential.

Job Offer

£23,000 - £28,000

12 month fixed term contract

Bonus upon completion of contract
