Running the AM Shift, starting at 2AM on wards. Experience of parcels is preferable though not essential.

Client Details

The client is a global parcels brand with a well established network.

Description

Key responsibilities include:
  • Successful running of a AM warehouse shift
  • Managing a team of up to 20 individuals across warehouse and transport, responsible for RTW personal development and disciplinary
  • Organising and controlling the depots collection and delivery operations ensuring all delivery timings are achieved
  • Organising and controlling the depot's resources to ensure maximum efficiency of the depot through effective management of people and assets
  • To ensure that all operational standards and procedures within the depot are carried out effectively

Profile

The successful candidate should have the following:
  • A track record of success in a leadership position
  • Success in meeting and exceeding targets and delivering an outstanding client experience
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations
  • Possess good financial acumen
  • Computer literate and comfortable in the use of technology and IT systems, including knowledge of MS Office
  • Previous success with managing teams
  • Comfortable, willing and able to lead by example and also adopt a practical hands-on approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Previous experience within the Parcel Freight industry
  • Management experience within a warehouse environment


  • Must be available to work night shift

Job Offer

Package is between £20,000 and £24,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday + Bank holiday.
