Page Personnel Logistics are currently looking to recruit a Nights Warehouse Manager for our client in Thatcham.

Client Details

Our client are a well known, maret leading distributor of FMCG.


Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Responsibility to ensure all Primary and secondary fleet vehicles in the South are loaded with the correct stock in line with operational timescales so that customer orders can be achieved.
  • The safe operation of warehousing activities across the site, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Planning, reviewing and communicating operational requirements and changes across departments, so that KPI’s and customer service levels are met.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives for continued operational and service improvements.
  • Preparation of operational plans and budgets for the Warehouse.
  • Ensuring compliance of the operation to the Quality systems, industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Recruiting, training, motivating and developing the Warehouse teams so that they deliver the required levels of customer service, productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Continuously seek to optimise the cost-effectiveness, productivity and customer service levels of the Warehouse through planned and regular communication mechanisms and the proactive accessing of the National Operating Agreement.
  • Manage the Industrial Relations of the Warehouse in all aspects, including Disciplinary and Grievance; Company sickness and absence policy
  • Operational decisions involving the deployment of employees and resources with an impact on distribution costs, employee relations and customer service.
  • Continually reviewing all aspects of the operation so that methods, procedures and efficiency can be improved.


We are looking for candidates with extensive management experience within a Warehouse Operation. and ideally as part of a multi site logistics operation. Man management is key and you will have experience in managing employee relations and customer/trading relations. Other key experiences and skills required will be Health and Safety, communication, organisation and financial acumen.
