The role of Planning & Logistics Manager will be to lead and manage the supply chain function for the manufacturing site, with a particular focus on demand and supply planning.

Client Details

Our client are a global FMCG manufacturer with sites all over the world. They have a manufacturing facility in Kingston Upon Hull that is integral to group performance. As an employer, they have an excellent reputation for developing staff and promoting from within the group.


The key responsibilities of the Planning & Logistics Manager role are as follows:
  • Driving continuous improvement across all elements of the supply chain
  • Improving the quality of demand planning to ensure supply and production plans are optimised
  • Implementing supply chain processes
  • Initiating a site S&OP implementation and driving it across the the business
  • Ensuring material availability
  • Working with and developing 3PL's
  • Setting team objectives


The Planning & Logistics Manager will have:
  • A proven track record in Supply Chain Management within an FMCG environment
  • Degree level qualification
  • Exceptional stakeholder influencing skills
  • Demonstrable successful line management
  • A focus on drive and delivery
  • ERP knowledge
  • Implemented or been heavily involved in S&OP process
  • Strong communication skills

Job Offer

£55-60k plus strong benefits package
