Your Tasks

  • To manage the logistics function for EGGER (UK) Limited manufacturing plants at both Hexham and Ayrshire, encompassing Production Planning, Inventory Control, Warehousing and Transport.
  • Shape the strategic development of the Logistics function within the UK, especially in relation to impact on planning processes and use of SAP.
  • Develop the competences of the reporting teams and integrate them into a successful team.
  • Review current operations recommending/implementing 'best practice' solutions.
  • Optimise customer benefits through supply chain satisfaction and seeking competitive advantages in the market.

Our Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree level education in Business or professional discipline.
  • Experience of managing and developing a high volume planning function essential.
  • Membership of Institute of Logistics and Transport preferred.
  • High standard of IT competence including MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability in process improvement, problem solving and in commercial analytical thinking.
