Description

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement and Insurance Assistant will provide support to all aspects of delivering the procurement and insurance functions.
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to promote Governance & Compliance objectives, to help them achieve Value for Money, minimise insurance liability claims and ensure good governance.
  • Supporting the delivery of the procurement strategy
  • Supporting the delivery and research of all procurement and insurance-related tasks
  • Deputising for the Procurement Manager as required
  • Leading on lower value tender processes, which involves engaging with stakeholders across the business to help them to obtain Value for Money on procurement.

Profile

The successful Procurement and Insurance Assistant will be able to demonstrate:
  • Good organisation and planning skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data
  • Be able to communicate with all types of people
  • Experience of working in a procurement or insurance-related role
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) level 4 qualification is desirable
