Our client is a leading global technology company who require a Procurement Assistant to join them to assist the Procurement team with all operational managed services & technology procurement activities and the associated sales order process. Ensuring that internal and external clients receive excellent service and that all related processes are operationalised to drive seamless transacting and ensure commercial and operational risk is minimised with the ability to drive client delivery, operational supplier relationships, supply chain risk management and profitability.

  • To work with suppliers & internal stakeholders to ensure all Purchase Orders have been acknowledged & contract details received as agreed
  • Ensure relevant information is added to the Order Management Tool & SAP in accordance with established procedures and timescales to achieve customer SLA’s
  • To monitor open purchase orders, provide relevant reports with updates within agreed timeframes
  • To resolve any discrepancies & queries and escalate accordingly where necessary, whilst minimising risk to the client and Company
  • To receipt purchase orders within agreed timeframes
  • To resolve Invoice queries within agreed timeframes to ensure on time supplier payments
  • Procure equipment and 3rd party UK support contracts to fulfil sales orders in accordance with established procedures and timescales to achieve customer SLA
  • Provide input and feedback for supplier reviews
  • Provide assistance and support with any other daily or project based procurement activities

Skills Required:
  • Ideally previous experience of working in a procurement function
  • General IT product knowledge
  • PC Literate, SAP, MS Office knowledge
  • Good understanding of operational processes
  • Ability to influence & persuade
  • Analytical and process driven
  • Well organised with excellent time management
  • Collaborative & flexible
