Procurement Associate Director - London - £70000

Your New Company

Our client is an innovative professional services organisation with a multitude of offices globally (with your new office being in London). The key areas they focus on include, cost management, project management as well as consultation in regards to natural resources and property.

Their approach to procurement is ensuring the function effectively engages with stakeholders to meet business objectives, assessing risk and developing the best ways to benefit from the procurement function, such as maximising economics of scale.

Your New Role

Based in London, you will be working as an Associate Director for this global consulting organisation. You will be required to manage the end to end procurement process, executing procedures and working with supply chain. One of the key tasks of this job will be to encourage Competitive Dialogue. Essentially this process is allowing organisations to interact with bidders on high risk, complex projects, where bidders will play a key part in defining solutions.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Amongst other things, we are looking for a person with considerable public sector procurement experience particularly in the construction industry and also dealing with infrastructure. You will also need considerable experience dealing with OJEU procurement procedures. You will also need experience dealing with the Competitive Dialogue procurement procedure. Highly desirable experience, would be substantial experience of standard form JCT and NEC construction contracts.
