Procurement Consultant – up to £50,000 – London – Niche Consultancy

A rising star in Procurement and Supply Chain has recently come to market for a new procurement consultant to join the expanding team. This niche consultancy only hires those who are the very best at what they can do, those that can bring something special to the team.

The Procurement Responsibilities of the Procurement Consultant:
  • Head up the delivery of new procurement strategies and frameworks to clients, you may also be asked to help with other areas in which you have experience in
  • Share your knowledge and experience with both clients and internally with the employer in order to maintain the high level of service they pride themselves on
  • Develop new business opportunities and actively seek out new clients for the employer to work with
  • Manage both direct and indirect procurement, in tandem with assessing and developing new strategies to increase the efficiency of the procurement function

The Key Skills and Qualifications of the Procurement Consultant:
  • Experience of the full end to end of the procurement lifecycle
  • Excellent academics e.g. degree at 2.1 from a top university
  • Exemplary softer skills including stakeholder management and an air of gravitas
  • Previous experience in a client facing role or internal consultancy e.g. project based work
  • Relevant business qualification e.g. CIPS
  • Bilingual in another European language
