Procurement Consultant - £90,000 – London – FTSE 100

A giant in the management consulting space is going out to market for a senior level consultant to join the team and help to coordinate projects and ensure that standards are being met. Role at this level do not come around often due to them providing a route to director level positions.

The Procurement Responsibilities of the Consultant:

Within the role you will be liaising closely with all three streams of the consultancy division, you will be aiding with the delivery of new strategies and procedures. Alongside this you will also be expected to ensure that the delivery team or hitting their contractual requirements are being met. A major part of the role will also developing existing and creating new relationships with clients in order to increase their buy in with the employer, potentially upselling on existing contracts.

The Qualifications and Skills of the Procurement Consultant:
  • First class interpersonal skills
  • Experience in both the public and private sector
  • Willingness to travel between clients
  • Degree at 2.1 level or above (or equivalent)
  • Previous consultancy experience
  • Full end to end knowledge of the procurement lifecycle
