Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for managing all Indirect spend across multiple business units.

Description





The Strategic and Tactical Category Management of Indirect spend. Main responsibilities:

  • Implementation of strategic category management plans to deliver security of supply, quality, service and cost benefits.
  • Responsible for the identification and delivery of benefits from tactical activity with suppliers, including specification, reviews, request for prices (RFPs), tenders and price negotiation.

  • Lead supplier selection process, qualification of alternative sources, supply base rationalisation programs and other relevant strategies to optimise the supply base.

  • Responsible for ensuring that an approved legal contract is in place and maintained for each significant supplier.
  • Responsible for supplier relationship management.





Profile

- Ideally CIPS qualified

- Minimum of 5 years experience within an Indirect Procurement role.

- Strong communication skills on all levels

- Commutable to Nottingham

- Eligible to Live and work in the UK
