Procurement Manager - Up to 65,000 - London - Construction, Property & Infrastructure

Your new company

Our client is a global Construction, Engineering, Infrastructure and Project Management Services Company with a location London. They have a rich history, operating in over 20 countries and have hundreds of offices locations across the world. They offer bespoke services, including procurement to their clients. They are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team here in London.

Your new role

As a Procurement Manager, the work will involve end to end procurement related to Engineering, Construction, Rail and Infrastructure. In addition to RFQs, RFIs, RFTs etc. you will be actively involved in subsequent contract negotiations, disposal or renewal of said agreements and will be a key communicator to all stakeholders regarding the importance of procurement. You will also collaborate cross functionally with the Head of Supply Chain.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have end to end procurement experience within construction & property, and or Engineering and Infrastructure is essential. You will need to be able to format contracts for project teams and also be a key assets to ensure the contract life-cycle runs smoothly. You will need to have strong Microsoft Office skills.

Professional membership of the CIPS is highly desirable. Previous OJEU experience is also highly desirable. We are looking for a strong negotiator and someone with great communication skills both orally and written. We need someone who is good at working in a team or independently and e-procurement systems experience is highly desirable.
