Client Details

A market-leading infrastructure company embarking on change


  • Implement and develop procedures in keeping with our client's procurement policy and ensure coherence and continuous advancement in procurement processes and procedures
  • Management of several different areas of spend including but not limited to: IT, MRO, Professional Services, Facilities Management
  • Supplier Consolidation.

  • Act as the lead on procurement projects, coordinating all procurement activity and carrying out the procurement activity, through to contract award
  • Supplier relationship/performance management
  • Employ relationship management skills to engage key internal stakeholders and make an impact across the business.
  • Ensure suppliers continue to deliver best value by actively benchmarking against identified and approved comparators; and negotiating any contract changes.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through internal demand profiling, supply base benchmarking and analysis, as well as the ongoing examination of generic supplier market trends.


  • Skilled in compiling robust tender and commercial documents
  • Demonstrable experience in running tenders and leading complex procurement activities as well as leading commercial negotiations
  • Experience in procuring direct and indirect goods and services
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills
  • Spend analysis skills, advanced excel required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (or actively working towards)
