This Multinational Specialist Chemical Company has established itself as an industry leader, using chemicals to produce a wide array of end products from Food Packaging to Paints. You will be the Procurement Manager, specialising in the IT Category with a secondary focus on the HR and Professional Services Categories. You will be based out of the New Jersey office and joining a company that strives to be the best in the industry and has proven that they are an established industry leader.
You will report directly into the Senior Manager of Procurement and have secondary reports to multiple senior stakeholders, such as the CFO. You will lead procurement within your assigned IT, HR and Professional Services categories across multiple domestic and international sites. You will have the independence to create and manage your own procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships and reporting this back to the senior stakeholders of the organisation.
Role As the IT Category Procurement Manager you will: • Develop and foster relationships with key suppliers to ensure proactivity to meet the requirements of the organisation. • Manage your IT Procurement Category across the organisations various sites, working alongside key internal and external stakeholders to create and manage supplier contracts. • Take the lead on your primary IT Procurement Category and secondary HR and Professional Services Categories by creating Procurement Strategies to ensure supplier compliance while identifying cost saving opportunities. • Report to Senior Internal and External Stakeholders on your primary and secondary procurement categories.
Requirements • Procurement experience within the IT category (procurement experience within HR and Professional services would be preferred but is not required) • Experience in vendor management and the implementation of procurement strategies across multiple locations • Experience in S2P (Source to Pay) processes using SAP • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels • A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, etc.
