Client Details

An new opportunity to join an established organisation in the residential sector. As Procurement Officer you have responsibility to support procurement activities across various projects whilst ensuring effective procurement frameworks and adding value for both the business and end customer.


  • Assist in the development and execution of procurement strategies and plans for all categories of spend
  • Support the delivery of innovation and cost reduction
  • Assist in ensuring that contractual arrangements are fully compliant with relevant legislation
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques to deliver best practice and continuous improvement in procurement
  • Work with procurement partners representing the needs of the business
  • Assist in contract management activities to provide a co-ordinated approach across the functions, departments and / or parties participating in business wide arrangements
  • Ensure procurement activities and processes comply with policy and procedure


  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of current procurement legislation
  • Background of procuring across various indirect commodities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand, evaluate, summarise and draw conclusions from numerical and non-numerical data
  • Proven ability of organising, planning and allocating work tasks
  • Demonstrate the ability to use own initiative and adapt to changing circumstances
  • MCIPS Qualified or working toward

Job Offer

Salary £27,000 plus benefits
