Procurement Project Analyst

Global role with a top 30 Times European employer in industrial services

Location: Paris
Languages: English
Salary: €40k-€50k + bonus & benefits

Europe’s largest industrial services supplier is looking to hire an individual with exceptional analytical skills, excelling in processing large volumes of raw data. You will work alongside senior stakeholders (including Category Directors and the VP of Category Management) within the business to influence and develop key Procurement strategies.

As the Procurement Project Analyst, you will be working for a Times top 30 ranked European company operating in more than 20 countries and are rated as best in class for their many services. You will have the opportunity to impact Procurement and Supply Chain strategies made at a regional and global level, using your analytical skills to support the Group Category Directors and VP in defining priority actions. Working with commercial data you will have the ability to identify new brand opportunities, and will work alongside a talented and driven international team.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Collecting and analysing data within a decentralized and complex environment
  • Proactively challenging the status quo, offering fact-based recommendations for brand opportunities
  • Monitoring & identifying risks in implementing your assigned Procurement and Supply Chain projects
  • Support and document key national and international negotiations

The ideal Group Category Management Analyst will possess the following skills:
  • Experienced working in an analytical role
  • Prior consulting experience is a strong plus
  • Experience in managing end-to-end projects
  • Fluency in English (fluency in French and/or German is desired, but not required)
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and meticulous in their organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
