Procurement Specialist – Various (Newcastle or London) - £30,000 + Benefits

Fast growing firm seeks ambitious and commercially savvy individual to join their Strategic Procurement function. With a close-knit and collaborative sourcing team‎, the successful applicant will benefit from one-to-one coaching to ensure quick personal development and enjoy autonomy over strategic procurement projects. Also, with expanding operations across the UK and USA, international secondments are available longer term.

Procurement Specialist role profile:-
  • Gaining a holistic understanding of the procurement across indirect spend (HR, Marketing, FM, IT), receiving comprehensive training and transferring your procurement knowledge to this fundamental area
  • Working closely with a number of senior stakeholders, building rapport and gaining buy-in from day one
  • Managing multi-million pound spends and designing and implementing strategy plans and overseeing their global rollouts
  • Progressing rapidly within an internationally renowned player within their industry and adding an established brand to your CV
  • For a driven self-starter with ambitious career plans, this is a fantastic opportunity

Required background:-
  • A solid understanding of the strategic nature of procurement, with in-depth experience of seeing tenders through the end-to-end procurement process
  • An impressive track record of fast progression
  • A good understanding of indirect category (e.g. Marketing, HR, FM, Professional Services etc.)
