A Procurement Specialist based near Manchester paying a competitive salary of £32,000 - 37,000 per year

Your new company
You will be working for a market leading 3rd sector organisation with a real emphasis on their procurement structure and currently growing from strength to strength.

Your new role
You will report into the Procurement Manager and be responsible for leading the process for procuring contracts for a variety of Indirect categories and services to meet requirements and deliver value for money. You will be producing tender and contract documents, working to KPIs and liaising with other teams to ensure contracts achieve value for money including cost savings and improved service [link removed] will also lead on a number of procurement projects and one-off tendering activities, monitoring contracts, as well as analysing spend information. You will be working closely with staff across the organisation providing advice, guidance, training and support for their day-to-day purchasing activity.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive experience of working within procurement, managing tendering processes and working with OJEU guidelines. Experience in the public sector, 3rd sector or using OJEU is essential, as are excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to deadlines are also essential requirements. CIPS membership is desirable but candidates that are working towards CIPS or can demonstrate suitable alternative qualifications and/or experience will be considered.
