Interim Procurement Specialist Role- London

Interim procurement specialist

Your new company: You will be working for a multinational company spanning six continents. Your new company has a deep understanding of their demand and the relevant supply markets. An innovative, fast-paced and performance-driven company, my client has strong relationships with suppliers and ambitious plans to make business more efficient in all aspects.

Your new role: You will be supporting procurement category managers in the services category, leading the development and execution of sourcing initiatives for your relevant market sector. You will be involved with engaging stakeholders, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers. You will be part of the entire sourcing process, from identifying need, supplier selection, negotiation, contract management as well as the purchase to pay solution. Part of your role will also be to train less experienced staff in the company’s procurement systems.

What you’ll need to succeed: The successful candidate will have experience with the full end to end tendering process. You will have 3-5 years’ experience in a procurement services role. You will be able to confidently describe what you did in your previous role, in all parts of the sourcing process. You will be an excellent communicator, able to engage with stakeholders and develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
