Procurement Support Administrator - Surrey

We are working on an exclusive basis with a large FM services provider, to assist in the recruitment of a Procurement Support Administrator - Surrey for their Weybridge office.

The Procurement remit within this company spans all Business Units across UK & Ireland; and provides commercial support to the business to ensure that optimum value is secured from the supply market in support of our business goals and client satisfaction.

** Procurement experience, while advantageous, is not essential for this role **

Role Responsibilities:
  • To provide a wide range of Operational Procurement support to the business and provide administrative support to the Supply Chain & Procurement team
  • Provide an Operational Procurement Help Desk function for the business by responding in a timely manner to calls and Procurement Inbox enquiries to deliver advice and guidance to colleagues
  • The post will own and continue the development of the Procurement Sharepoint site such that it creates a clear and compelling understanding of Procurement as an end to end process and clarity of the roles, contact points and accountability's
  • Record trends regarding enquiries and support provided to the broader business through the Helpdesk to ensure the Procurement operational offering meets the business needs
  • Ensure that the business is aware and adhering to the Supply Chain & Procurement Policy and associated buying standards
  • Support the Supply Chain & Procurement Business Analyst in the management and reconciliation of supplier income
  • Support the Procurement Directors and their teams to help with the business administration.
  • To work and collaborate with procurement colleagues in other countries and HQ as necessary

Person Specification:
  • Educated to A Level or above
  • Strong team player - collaborative in nature
  • Self-starter who can orientate and organise priorities in a demanding environment
  • Experience working with/ in a procurement department.
  • Effective communications skills and relationship management – being able to engage and influence at all levels within and outside the business environment
  • Results and outcomes focused
  • To have a natural flair for numeracy
