Production Manager, Essex, with a leading organisation


Your new company
A leading manufacturing organisation offering a new opportunity for a Production Manager to join their successful and established team.

Your new role
You will assist the Operations team in delivering the forecast through removing all technical barriers to manufacture and drive the company to achieve its quality, delivery and profitability on time. The manufacturing process needs to be efficient and cost effective to ensure delivery requirements are met. Lean processes are an integral part to this role to enable the site to run at an optimum level. Building maintenance will also be a part of your new role and you will be expected to improve the facility.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be able to understand and analyse financial statements in order to improve cost and efficiency. Strong leadership skills are required along with good interpersonal skills. You must be comfortable communicating with senior management and making decisions on your own when necessary. Managing change to identify and solve problems as well as critical thinking and intellectual capabilities are necessary. A hands on approach is required and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to develop a cross functional assembly team, modernise production techniques / equipment to produce quality product and reduce failure rates. This role will suit an experienced Production Manager who can hit the ground running or an individual who is ready to step up in their career who has the necessary attributes and can demonstrate experience through involvement in CI activity under a Production/Operations/Manufacturing Manager.
