Your new role Pro-actively take part in development and improvement of the company's management systems and legal obligations particularly ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and Health & Safety. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental Management Systems & Information Security Systems. To ensure that your team is regularly briefed on company performances, customer feedback, HR issues, safety and environmental issues. Drive the on-going development of Lean principals throughout all departments.
What you'll need to succeed My client has specified that previous experience as a Production Manager in a printing background is a must and therefore any applications without this will not be successful.
You will need to provide leadership, direction and motivation to all line managers reporting to you. The ability to ensure that all jobs are managed throughout the production process from planning to completion in a seamless, timely and maximise cost effectiveness. To be able to demonstrate collaboration with colleagues and develop their operations skills to ensure that peak period demands can be met. To understand the MIS requirements for a modern printing environment is desirable but not a must.
What you'll get in return A position that is paying £30,000 - £35,000 depending on previous experience managing a Production team. Working Monday - Friday with a 40 working week however, if the job requires more hours may be needed.
