The Production Planner will work Sunday through to Thursday and will be tasked with planning the sites production activities to ensure delivery of 99% customer service levels at minimal cost.

Based in Maidstone, Kent our client our leading FMCG manufacturer's providing product to supermarkets, high street stores and independents.

Description



The Production Planner will work Sunday through to Thursday and will be tasked with planning the sites production activities to ensure delivery of 99% customer service levels at minimal cost.

  • Work with the Senior Planner to manage the sites planning activities so that daily/weekly supply chain activities are planned with the aim of improving or reducing costs
  • Ensure that plant capacity is aligned with forecasted demand and any issues are highlight promptly
  • Ensure that planning data is up to date and accurate
  • Create, analyse and monitor KPI data, highlighting trends and issues, where appropriate
  • Take control of any processes associated with production planning, site utilisation, and product availability
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers and customers
  • Drive information flow between NPD, Production and Supply Chain







Profile

The successful Production Planner will be able to demonstrate:


  • A proven ability to work within Oracle and Excel to a high level including Macro writing
  • An understanding of an FMCG manufacturing environment and processes
  • Ability to problem solve in a timely manner and provide resolutions where possible
  • Strong time management and prioritising skills
