This job contributes to Starbucks success by managing supply and production planning from EMEA internal and externally manufacturers for strategic finished good items for EMEA and global customers. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles by championing a continuous improvement culture and continually seeking to improve processes and standards to eliminate waste, increase safety, quality and value.

Optimizes the flow of product through the supply chain by developing production and supply plans that balance the demand forecast and customer shelf life requirements with cost, efficiency and capability constraints in the manufacturing network, distribution centres and customer supply chains.
Develops supply plans and options that maximise service, inventory turn and costs. Identifies capacity gaps, mitigating risks and recommending changes to sourcing or agreements with suppliers. Develops and maintains buy plans and submits and monitors purchase orders. You prepare availability, total cost of ownership, stock health and other analyses to facilitate cost and service improvements.
Supports integrated planning process by creating and maintaining the supply review process to highlight new demand impact on manufacturing product mix, suggesting trade-offs and prioritization and alternative sourcing and distribution solutions as required.
Participates as a supply planning representative in project teams including new product launches, promotional products, new packaging and labels, transitioning of new distribution centres, launching new customers and markets, sourcing projects and developing new systems by  enforcing the commercialization process, by securing the supply planning requirements  and highlighting any issues that put the project deliverables at risk.
Communicates service issues and solutions to relevant stakeholders and supply chain operations teams to ensure customer knows options available, timelines and can make alternative plans. Attends cross functional meetings to provide updates and customer review meetings to understand requirements, communicate options and design solutions.
Uses planning system tools to effectively and efficiently create planning and production solutions and maintain inventory system accuracy. Initiates and leads process & system development and enhancement. Ensures system and data setup is up to date and accurate and reflecting the supply chain’s requirements.
Analyses manufacturer and supplier service KPI’s to address performance improvement. Attends key business reviews with sourcing and supply chain operations. Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, suppliers and customers and proposes changes to supply agreements to ensure total cost of ownership approach for the entire supply chain.
Trained and able to cover other manufacturing planning roles as required by absence or holiday cover.




Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supply planning, or operational position, using advanced inventory or planning systems.
Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in logistics or supply chain management;
Good knowledge of purchasing, demand and supply planning and inventory management processes;
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Strong analytical skills;
Strong Microsoft Office skills;
Problem-solving skills;
Being able to work in a multi-cultural, dynamic environment;
Excellent command of the English language;
Result and solution driven approach to work.
APICS certification;
Oracle ASCP experience;
