We are looking for a Purchase to pay specialist.

Reporting into the Head of Procurement your key purpose is to support the future design and implementation of P2P process and technology solution. The role holder will need to quickly understand the current design and issues and be capable of working within a multi-team environment and confident in proposing solutions to be implemented using the new system.

The post holder will support the delivery of P2P strategies and the team activities on a day-to-day basis. This will require meticulous attention to detail, the ability to understand and interpret business metrics within the P2P arena and make recommendations where appropriate.

Role Duties

Work with the Head of Procurement and our system supplier to design the best fit solution for P2P within the company.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the end to end processes in all areas of P2P responsibility, supporting the delivery of solutions and responses to questions and queries.
Provide input into escalated stakeholder inquiries or disputes, ensuring resolution within the agreed SLAs.
Through thorough analysis of the business need, provide control and visibility of the full procurement life cycle to enable the provision of insight.
Working with stake holders at all levels within the business to achieve the most appropriate result on every occasion.
Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure all necessary information is compiled, reviewed, and approved in line with expectations.
Serve as liaison for maintaining business unit relationships, resolving their concerns, and escalating to leadership if necessary.
Carrying out and co-ordinating all required P2P design and day to day issues. Completing in a timely and efficient manner whilst working toward the successful achievement of goals and KPIs.
Supporting the setting of relevant goals and KPI's for the project and Procurement Team.
Take an innovative approach to resolving current issues and designing future state.
Where continuous issues arise with a process, propose potential solutions to Management and implement upon agreement.
Prioritising responsibilities and handling multiple demands on a daily basis, using own initiative with limited supervision.
Have a 'can-do' and flexible approach in achieving results and the ability to drive and adapt to change, with the desire to develop multiple skills.
Anticipating and identifying the impact and implications of decisions and activities on other parts of the organisation.
Good technical skills and a good understanding of how P2P impacts other Accounting and Operational areas.
Effectively address any issues in collaboration with others across the business, as well as support development in this area with direct reports and other team members.

Essential experience

Customer focused
ERP and PTP design and implementation experience
Previously worked within a multi-team environment
Has gained experience of achieving results through effective team leadership and through the planning, control and formal review of technology enabled projects.
Has a sound understanding of risk management.
Understands the inter dependencies of business processes and information systems.
Commercially aware
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to form effective relationships
Ability to plan and organise work
Willing to work to set targets and under pressure
Skilled in analytical thinking, stress handling, creativity and organisational awareness.
Strong administration skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy

For the successful candidate my client is wiling to pay £60,000 per annum.
