A high profile restaurant group are seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Manager to take on a critical head office function, working collaboratively with all core business units.

The Organisation

You will be working with a multiple award winning business with international reach, and some of the best chefs in the industry. The business works with fresh and premium ingredients, and requires a proactive and sensitive approach to all purchasing and inventory related activity.

Surrounded by an excellent support system, you will work collaboratively with experienced internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

The Role

You will act as the company’s inventory champion, coordinating a seamless internal system that enables full visibility for restaurants and the purchasing team.

By conducting cost control activities, you will help produce monthly gross profit reports, which will help modify recipes and menus to manage budgets more effectively.

You should expect to run monthly stock audits and process stock transfers as required.

The Person

You will have a number of years’ experience working in the hospitality and catering space, with strong experience in cost control and inventory management.

You will have high standards in quality, and a strong personality, capable of dealing with challenging chefs.
