Leading FMCG Business based in Berkshire looking to recruit a Purchasing Admin/Buyer to join their team on a 3 month Temporary contract based in Berkshire

Client Details

My client is a leading FMCG Business based in Berkshire looking for a Purchasing Admin/Buyer to join their team on a 3 month Temporary basis.


The key Responsibilities for the Purchasing Admin/Buyer based in Berkshire are as follows:

Purchasing Admin:
  • Support the Buyer in all admin functions
  • POC for all supplier/customer queries
  • Raising POs
  • Ensuring all goods arrive to the warehouse on time.

  • All of the above
  • Sourcing new suppliers
  • Negotiating with suppliers with regards to meeting lead times, 3PL and contracts.
  • Liaising with Key Stake holders in house and externally to guide on product use and availability
  • Liaising with Sales team to ensure Demand is met


The successful candidate for the Purchasing Admin/Buyer role based in Berkshire Will have the following skill set:

Purchasing Admin:
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of stock management

  • All of the above
  • Knowledge of Buying from previous roles
  • FMCG Background
  • ERP/MRP system Understanding
  • Negotiation and Sourcing knowledge
