Purchasing Administrator role for IT & technology company based near Tower Bridge, London.

A thriving technology company based in London are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to fill a newly created role within the business to ensure their growth is maintained. This organisation serves many high-profile clients globally, providing a range of technology services and infrastructures. They pride themselves on offering a consultative and trusted support to their clients in over 100 different countries.

Your new role
As the Purchasing Administrator, you will not only be part of a newly formed team, you will have the opportunity to learn the ropes and develop a career within procurement. In this role you will be supporting the procurement team in terms of ensuring customer POs (purchase orders) are recorded as expected and checking prices are accurate. You will be placing orders with suppliers within the technology space and recording and keeping an eye on deliveries in order to serve the client as smoothly as possible. You will be responsible for storing the IT hardware until the client is ready for their goods, and ensure that spares are in stock in case of repair work for the client.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be willing to continue a career in procurement, and an experience within the technology/telecoms sector is an advantage.. You will be a good people person in order to develop relationships with people inside and outside of the business.
