This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to join a progressive business. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the purchasing team, processes orders and tasked with daily administration duties.

Client Details

Based in Barnsley, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business which has gone through an immense amount of growth over the past number of years and have no intentions of slowing down. With an international supplier base, they are looking for someone capable of working within a fast-paced environment.


As the Purchasing Administrator you will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing support to the purchasing department

  • Placing and chasing orders

  • Dealing with faults, repairs and returns

  • Liaising and instructing collections via freight forwarding companies

  • Requesting and collating relevant product certifications

  • Creating and maintaining reports and KPI’s

  • Updating current and creating new product codes and categories

  • Looking for profit improvement opportunities

  • Other various duties as required


I am looking for a proactive individual with relevant experience preferably within an office environment. Below are some of the key skills and qualities required:

  • Good communication skills
  • Strong computer skills especially Excel
  • Able to multi-task
  • Previous experience working within a similar environment
  • Previous purchasing experience
