Your new company
With decades of successful years in business, this rapidly growing firm are specialists in their own market and take pride on being a leader throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to new contracts and strategic restructuring for the years ahead, they are seeking to expand their Purchasing team by taking on an enthusiastic professional on a full time permanent basis for their [link removed]gh site.

Your new role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will work cooperatively as part of a high volume purchasing team to place orders with both local and global suppliers using internal MRP computer systems whilst managing and booking the delivery schedule of raw materials to site. The Purchasing Assistant will assist with negotiating and agreeing prices on a regular basis, post invoices onto the system and liaise effectively with all departments to ensure the end-to-end supply chain is continuously improving. You will also be required to complete general office duties and administration for the team.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to success along with a working knowledge of various Microsoft packages and ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. Also, examples of hitting weekly KPI's and liaising with external customers or suppliers will go to your advantage.

What you'll get in return
Joining a well established firm with exciting growth plans year on year, the successful candidate will have many opportunities to progress with promotion internally as the company expands. Also, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary based on market average and full training on start date for internal computer software systems.
