Purchasing Co-ordinator Role for Top Promotional Merchandising Company!

Your new company
Your new company is a promotional merchandising company that have won multiple awards in their industry and are a leader in their field. They are a global brand with a focus on supplying ethically sourced merchandise on behalf of their clients.

Your new role
In your new Purchasing Co-ordinator role you will be working alongside the buying department to aid with ensuring cost savings are made when purchasing products from the Far East. You will also be liaising with key suppliers based across Europe and the Far East as well as the design and sales teams on product development. You will find yourself creating purchase orders and helping establish a new supplier base. Your role will include but not be limited to handling quality control, detailing product specifications and assisting with presentations for clients.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you should ideally have a product development based degree. You should be creative and have a real interest in consumer products in addition to ethical sourcing from suppliers across Europe and the Far East. You should have both excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to present to a diverse range of people. Some experience in buying is preferred. You should be keen to throw yourself into any task that comes your way as well as be able to work part of a team.
