Purchasing Manager role in Lisburn with fully negotiable salary


Your new company
Our client is a group of companies that are at the cutting edge of their industry. They manage an extensive group of products to a wide range of global businesses. Due to ongoing success and new structure changes at a senior level, they are seeking a new Purchasing Manager on a full time permanent basis, to fulfil a key leadership role.

Your new role Reporting to the Operations Director, the Purchasing Manager will lead a team of engaged Buyers to monitor KPI’s, improve material costs with full responsibilities for developing internal procurement strategies to drive efficiency in inventory. You will sustain global supplier engagement with involvement in outsourcing projects, creating new relationships to increase supply chain value through price, on-time delivery and reduction in material holding. Also, you will deal with supplier delivery/quality issues to ensure prompt resolution and effective communication to all internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Your degree qualification or CIPS membership with 3-5 years’ experience of managing and developing a team of buyers, ideally within a technical / manufacturing environment will lead to success. Also, you will be able to demonstrate advance leadership ability to get the best out of your teams with experience in supplier management and contract negotiations.
