Your new company
You will be joining a rapidly growing company who operate within the FMCG Food Production industry and distribute high quality products across Ireland. Recently, they have developed a new product range which has generated huge success for the business as a whole. Due to this achievement, they are seeking to enhance their Procurement team by recruiting for a new Purchasing Manager to work on a full time permanent basis, or alternatively an experienced Senior Buyer who is looking to take the next step into management.

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will have responsibility over the complete end-to-end supply chain operational process including sourcing, ordering raw materials and inventory control for the movement of goods. The Purchasing Manager will oversee KPI’s of two stock controllers and be involved with direct price negotiations with global suppliers to achieve competitive cost savings where possible. Furthermore, you will liaise with all internal departments to forecast plan for procurement based on customer demands, analyse seasonal fluctuations and monitor supplier performance.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous management experience within a high volume Procurement, Supply Chain or Materials Planning team will lead to success along with the ability to liaise with various departments, take on independent sourcing exercises and work cooperatively alongside others. Also, you will be competent in various Microsoft packages and able to utilise internal software for Material Required Planning. Knowledge of the FMCG food production industry will be highly beneficial and CIPS qualification.

What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary which is fully negotiable depending upon your relevant experience.
